Summer Rubies

"What do you call a girl who lives 15
minutes away from a beach but left
her swimsuit at the mountains?"
It's called a Faye.

Every Easter Sunday, we'd close our bakery and go to the beach together with our salesladies and bakers. It's been a "tradition" (if I can call it that) ever since..well..I don't know when!

I didn't went for a swim yesterday 'cause I didn't want to tan. (I'm naturally tanned already, you know.) So I just spent half of the day wowing others with my amazing (note sarcasm here) karaoke singing skills (Filipinos represent! Woot!) and cooped up between blankets and pillows in an air-conditioned room (I can't take the heat! I'm practically melting!) playing Pou and Bakery Story and checking my Instagram every once in awhile.

For a day of couch potato-ing, I wore this super comfy cotton romper. (Bet you thought it was a dress, didn't you? At first glance, I thought it was too! I have been fooled too.)

This flats is sooooooooooooo comfy. I can hop, skip, prance, dance, and so much more with it. This baby is from a brand of SM Shoes and Bags called Solemate.

A touch of glam never hurts and this red and gold bracelet from Avon gives the extra oomph! to the outfit.

With the sun on full power, protecting your precious peepers should be one of your priorities. I do it with style with this sunnies from Irene's Closet. They have a wide selection of gorgeous sunnies perfect for summer!

Sporting Colors

Here’s a little random fact about me, I’m a sucker when it comes to 3d cartoons. It’s like I’m being a kid again whenever I watch cartoons.

My family and I went to watch “The Croods” yesterday. It was a really great movie and full of lessons too.  But nothing’s gonna top “Despicable Me” on my list.

Okay, enough about my love for cartoons. Here’s my outfit yesterday. I wanted to be comfortable yet fashionable so I went for a girly-sporty look.

In love with the color of my satchel. I just want to eat it!

Say hello to my worn-out pair of Converse. This baby is already 4 years old but it still fits!

This watch is so gorgeous! The white color of the strap screams femininity but is balanced by the metal case.

Wallflower

I built my outfit on this floral printed button-up top (worn as a cover-up) . My mother originally bought this for herself but the moment  I saw it I knew I have to have it. I thought it will go with anything and will instantly give a "boho vibe" to an outfit.  I asked mom if I can I have it and luckily, she agreed.

Thank you Mommy! If you’re reading this, you’re the best! I love you!

Don’t you just love the pearl beads on this shorts? I love how it’s in different sizes. The pearls made it girly despite of the ruggedness of the cut-offs.

My friends once joked about this connector ring. They said they will instantly know if I punched someone. One look on the receivers face and if there’s a three flower mark then, I’m the culprit.

What are your thoughts about this look? How would you wear the floral cover-up?
